The Effect of rTMS on Storke Patient Cognition and Activity Daily Living

Abstract
Objective: The purpose of the study was to explore the effect of rTMS on storke patient with cognitive impairment.

Methods: After a stroke, 12 patients with cognitive impairment were randomly assigned to rTMS group(6) and sham group(6) and were mediated 50minutes a day, 10times in two weeks.

Result: Before the intervention, the difference between the two groups NCSE and FIM scores was not statistically significant, and there were statistically significant differences in memory, language(NCSE), and cognitive areas(FIM) after the intervention.

Conclusion: rTMS is effective in memory, language and cognitive ADL of patients with cognitive impairment after stroke.
